Ravenhead Rustic bricks originate from the Ravenhead Sanitary Pipes and Brick Company, Burtonhead Road, St Helens.
These bricks were found close to the old location of Sankey Hill House, Earlestown. Sankey Hill House was the main residence (1861-1871) of John Thomson who ran the Sankey Sugar Works,
