The Hazels, Grade II listed building in St Michael's, Knowsley.
Built in 1764, it has been the residence of many wealthy people, including Christine & Constance Pilkington, of the Pilkington family, glass-makers, from St. Helens.
It was later used by C. F. Mott Teacher Training College, and then, Liverpool Polytechnic.
It was due to be re-developed by Marshalls, but this never happened.
So sad to see another beautiful building falling into ruin.
