St Helens Dance Classes go virtual for lockdown

During the covid pandemic lockdown, UC Crew has to take its dance classes and break dancing classes virtual to support children and teenagers across St Helens to keep active, healthy and motivated at home.

Teaching Break Dancing classes at home using Zoom was a tough challenge for our teachers and also for the students to learn, but it was hugely positive in progress the physical fitness, creative and dance level of the students so that they could compete in competitions and perform again once restrictions had eased.

UC Crew was quick to adapt and provide free dance lessons for its own students, as well as open it up to the public, schools and other dance schools pupils to attend, which paved the way for many other dance schools going virtual across the town of St Helens.
