Credit: St Helens Archive Service (ref. STR/1/68), photographed by Jordan and Metcalfe.
The windows of the bus have the names and dates of World War II battles. The bus was designed to be illuminated at night, but there was a power and fuel crisis in 1945 and consequently the government decreed such buses could not be used. Photograph taken by Jordan and Metcalfe George Street, St.Helens.
