Private James Henry - my Grandad

James Henry was a private in the Royal Signals regiment, enlisting from being a Territorial Soldier based at the Huyton Barracks. He was a member of the expeditionary forces and spent many years as a prisoner of war in the Far East, spending most of his time in the notorious Chengi camp. He returned home after liberation and worked for the council as a park ranger.
