Miss Greenall's Retirement from Notre Dame
Eccleston, 20/07/1983
With the recent old school photos on the site, I'd thought I'd put on this lovely photo of my dear late Aunt Joan Greenall being presented with a needlework picture on her retirement from teaching at Notre Dame High School 35 years ago. It read "Dear Miss Greenall, you have taught us to sew with grace and skill. We all thank you for your patience great kindness and good will.
Presented by the girls of Notre Dame High School -
20th July 1983. By their fruits you shall remember them. She also received a beautiful recipe book with each recipe being written by a different pupil or member of staff -
As she taught in St Helens all her working life, I guess quite a few will remember her
