Heritage tote bags 24/08/2018
During August 2018 people from the St Helens refugee / resettlement community explored and interpreted the St Helens Archives with artists Claire Weetman and Rebecca Ainsworth, resulting in a new artwork that will be a living archive at the drop in cafe run by charity 'Our Warm Welcome'

The project included a visit to St Helens Libraries archives in the Gamble Building, a visit to Dream, a workshop at Newton Le Willows Library, taster sessions at St Andrew's Church Craft Cafe and Refugee Women Connect (formerly Mrang) and support from St Helens Council Equalities team/Adult and Community Learning.

These tote bags were created by the group at a workshop in Newton-le-Willows Library.
